Plants that fit Manhattan apartments
Manhattan apartments trend tall and narrow, so we usually recommend plants that grow upward instead of outward. The dragon tree delivers extra height with a small footprint, as long as it gets bright indirect light and stays away from radiators and heat vents.
For a genuinely sunny south or west window, a cactus is the right plant instead:
Offices and lobbies
We deliver to Manhattan offices regularly. Send the floor, access rules and delivery window to dracaenanyc@gmail.com and we will recommend sizes accordingly. Set plants away from direct AC vents and measure the light first: large dracaena and corn plants handle levels that finish off many flowering plants.
Delivery pricing in Manhattan
Delivery is priced by distance from our Brooklyn hub: free within 5 miles on orders $30 and up, $15 from 5 to 10 miles, $30 from 10 to 20 miles, and $49 from 20 to 30 miles. Most Manhattan addresses fall in the $15 band; the parts of downtown closest to Brooklyn can be free. Pickup at our Brooklyn hub is always free. To be clear: Dracaena NYC has no Manhattan storefront, only this delivery service and the Brooklyn pickup point.
